Editor's Note

We recently had the opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of DecVar.org to the attendees of the OCEAN OPS 04 conference in Toulouse, France. We did not travel there by plane nor by boat. In fact, we did not travel at all. We gave our presentation using only the facilities provided by the DecVar online seminar system. Our presentation included an overview of the facilities that DecVar has to offers, as well as the rationale behind its creation. This presentation also served as a clear demonstration of the capabilities of this kind of system.
