The NASA-NSF-CRCES-IPRC Workshop on Decadal Climate Variability

Approximately 70 abstracts have been submitted for oral presentations in the upcoming workshop. The Organizing Committee will plan the workshop program and invites participants' comments and suggestions before 1 December 2003. The remaining deadlines for this workshop are as follows:

Student / recent post-doctorate paper submissions: 15 November 2003
Registration: 10 January 2004
Extended abstract submission: 15 January 2004
Hotel reservation: 21 January 2004

An afternoon-evening excursion during the workshop to the geophysical observatory in Mauna Loa (where atmospheric carbon dioxide measurements are made) and to the astronomical observatories on Mauna Kea may be planned if a sufficient number of participants are interested; the cost per participant will be announced soon. Emails regarding the workshop will no longer be sent to the DecVar and DecVar Community mailing lists en masse. If you wish to continue to receive workshop information and updates, either register for the event as soon as possible if you do plan to attend, or send an email to workshop@decvar.org and you will continue to receive workshop related communications.
