If the "no change" date has elapsed, you must modify the document information and change that date if you wish to make changes to the document content. The Writing Room feature allows you to work with documents within the Center jointly with other members. The author of the document can grant access to specific DecVar members or to all members as they choose. The steps are:
- Create the document information such as last date you will accept comments, title, author, etc.
- Insert the document text.
The Writing Room text insertion is done either paragraph by paragraph or by pasting an entire document. You can add to the text and edit existing paragraphs up to the "no change" date you have established at the time you created the document within the DecVar Virtual Center.
If you need to modify the document information or paragraphs, or even allow a longer comment period, the author needs only to modify the document information and change the date.
